Testimonials

The two days I spent studying with Mark was an invaluable learning experience.

Mark took me through the entire process of producing platinum/palladium prints and salt prints. From adjusting the initial image to optimize the digital negative required right through to toner selection and print mounting Mark covered every conceivable stage.

I left the workshop with a list of suppliers for all the materials I needed, advice on building equipment, and a sheaf of prints of my own images to inspire me.

Thanks Mark for being so generous and keen to share your expertise and enthusiasm.

I would like to say thanks for the very informative and enjoyable platinum/palladium workshop I attended in October 2011. From producing a digital negative right through to the final print was covered, along with materials and where to obtain them. It was a joy to create the platinum/palladium prints. The workshop has enabled me to move forward with confidence using this process and is thoroughly recommended.

“I first came across Mark’s work in the Landscape Photography Of The Year book (4) where his sublime long exposure work stood out. I had been looking for a little inspiration in regard to photographing landscapes and thought a couple of days shooting with Mark might just be the thing…and it was.”

“A full days shooting on the North Yorkshire course and a full day in Mark’s studio printing taught me a lot and rekindled a passion for landscape photography. I’d have no hesitation in recommending any of Mark’s workshops to anyone.”
