Welcome to my spring newsletter, well ok maybe I should be more careful using the spring word given that I woke this morning to find a good few inches of snow on the ground, that said I have some exciting news for you.
*UPCOMING EXHIBITIONS*
Following the success of my Shadows of Industry exhibition at Dean Clough last year I am pleased to announce that I have two more venues lined up to exhibit a selection of the work.
The first exhibition starts next Monday the 9th April and runs until mid May at the wonderful Greenwood Tree Gallery located in The Piece Hall, Halifax.
The second is a small exhibition at Silverprint in London, SE1 and runs from the 30th May through until the 9th July.

*NEW SHADOWS OF INDUSTRY BOOK*
Sticking with the Shadows of Industry theme the portfolio in now available in book form. The intimate paperback book measures 6×9 inches and is printed on uncoated stock that has a wonderful slightly silky texture feeling somewhat similar to the original platinum prints.

Upcoming Exhibition
Hi Friend,
I hope you are well. Just thought I would drop you a quick email to let you know about a solo exhibition I have starting next month.
My ‘Shadows of Industry’ portfolio is going to be exhibited at the wonderful Photography Gallery at Dean Clough Mills in Halifax. The exhibition features my photographs produced as handmade platinum prints depicting the mill towns here in the North of England. The exhibition starts on the 22nd October 2011 and runs until the 15th January 2012.
There is a private viewing for the exhibition with drinks and nibbles on Saturday 22nd October 12:00 till 13:30 which you would be more than welcome to attend if you are available.

OTHER EXHIBITION NEWS
In other news I have some work exhibited at the Square@Birmingham exhibition which is organised by Square Magazine. The exhibition started on the 6th September but is still on until the 1st of October at the Fotofilia Gallery, Regent Parade, Birmingham B1 3NS.
The exhibition is then moving to The Shrewsbury Coffeehouse, 5 Castle Gates, Shrewsbury, SY1 2AE from 2nd October until the 2nd December where it will be part of the Hereford Photography Festival.

Mark Voce Photography – Winter Newsletter
Dear Friend,
Winter seems to be firmly among us especially here in the UK, sub zero temperatures and loads of snow got me in the mood just to drop you a winter newsletter.
*NEW PORTFOLIO ADDED*
I have just added a new portfolio to my website I took in Iceland earlier this month. This was my second visit to the land of fire and ice and was quite an intensive tour of the south of the island to locations such as Vik, Dyrholaey and Jokulsarlon and what turned out to be rather a wintery expedition to the Snæfellsnes peninsula and the western fjords.

*AWARDS & EXHIBITIONS*
I am delighted to announce that two of my photos ‘The Spa’ and ‘La Vallette Bathing Pools’ have been commended by the judges and won places in the ‘Landscape Photography of the Year 2010′ awards book.
The two images are also going to be exhibited at the National Theatre in London SE1. The exhibition is free and runs from 22nd November 2010 until the 16th January 2011.
