When it comes to photographing on the coast there are a number of locations that are high on my list of favourites and among them is the beach at Sandsend near Whitby, North Yorkshire, the beach is littered with old sea defences, rocks and streams that meander towards the sea. It is a location I have visited more times than I can remember and can change dramatically depending upon the weather, on this day it was nice and stormy which lead to this dramatic seascape, my favourite conditions.
